SHAKEOLOGY

How Does Shakeology Help You Achieve Your Fitness Goals?

Fitness and your results are so much more than just getting up and getting moving. You need BOTH the fitness aspect AND the solid nutrition in order to achieve and maintain the results that you are after. It is true what they say, you can’t outwork a bad diet and with nutrition being 85% of your results, it is important to make sure that aspect is nailed down.

The great thing about Shakeology is that it solves this problem for you. Think of your body as a sports car: If you put regular gasoline in the tank, it will go but it will not perform anywhere near its great reputation; however, if you put high octane fuel in the tank then you are going to be driving what you paid for. Shakeology is the high octane fuel for your body. Why?

Most people still follow the ancient thought process of calories in vs. calories out;

however, it is so much more than that. A calories is not uniform. Eating 500 calories of fast food versus 500 calories of whole food nutrition is a totally different ball game. This is why it is so important to not just base your shake selection on calories alone – ask yourself: What makes up these calories? Is it fillers, sugars, and artificial flavorings to give your shake a great taste, or is it whole food nutrition as is the case with Shakeology (and yes – it still tastes amazing without all that added junk in it!)

A common mistake people make when they are hopping onto the healthy eating wagon is they find what they like when it comes to mostly fruits and vegetables and they just eat it over and over again. This is fine if you’re only concerned about your tastebuds, but especially when working out you need to increase your cellular nutrition aka the nutrition your body needs to perform at its best and recover at its fastest. The problem with eating only one kind of fruit or veggie over and over is that you miss out on other necessary nutrients that might be found in a food item you aren’t fond of. Shakeology is awesome for you if you are this person and you are picky because it contains everything you need. It fills in those missing spots in your nutrition and provides you with the prebiotics, probiotics, adaptogens, and whole food nutrition your body craves.

One of the most common complaints I hear is “That food doesn’t fill me up” and my answer to that is “Because you probably aren’t eating the right amount of it”. Again, this goes back to this calorie in calorie out thing and the fact that calories aren’t all created equal! If you are eating higher calories of good, whole food it is so much different from eating those same amount of calories in a greasy pizza. In addition, the fullness you feel when you eat processed food comes from the volume of food you are eating – NOT from the nutrition it provides (if any at all). When you fill up on nutritious food, that fill up is the kind where your body is saying ” I have what I need in terms of nutrition. You can stop”.

So to sum it up, Shakeology gives your body the whole food nutrition that is required in order for you to achieve and sustain maximum results and recovery. It helps with cravings, it reduces or eliminates headaches you might get from decreasing your intake of carbs or sugar, and it provides the elements needed for proper gut health which is where all disease and inflammation starts.
