Super Simple Slow Cooker Chicken

I am in no way, shape, or form a “Susie Homemaker”. I am a Boss B!tch, who gets things done, works long hours, and lives according to her dreams and what it takes to achieve them. That being said – this girl doesn’t have a lot of time on her hands to cook!

This chicken dinner is delicious, good for ya, and lasts about 2 days (and yes – it reheats quite well!)  Fire up that crockpot (or slow cooker) and get ready for your

Super simple slow cooker chicken

house to smell amazing, and your body to FEEL amazing.

Here we go!

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 pound red potatoes, halved

1 pound baby carrots

1 pound green beans, trimmed

1/2 cup reduced sodium soy sauce (I used Braggs Liquid Aminos instead)

1/3 cup honey

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried basil

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Put chicken breasts, potatoes and carrots in a 6-7 quarter slow cooker
  2. In a separate bowl whisk together soy sauce, honey, garlic, basil, oregano and pepper
  3. Pour the soy sauce mixture over the chicken and vegetables. Cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. Add the green beans for the last 30 – 45 minute

I told you this was going to be easy! Now sit back, relax, and turn on some Bravo TV 🙂
